Black & Gold

Sam Sparro

X3

Peak Position: 1

Weeks in Chart: 3

"Black & Gold" makes it's 3rd week in the chart at Number 1, it's mysterious moody vibe is so entrancing and addicting that it makes it super repeatable. The catchy euro-dance-esque lyrics are completely addictive! It's easily number 1!

Sunshine

TIEKS

Peak Position: 2

Weeks in Chart: 1

Love this song like crazy, "Sunshine" literally is sunshine, its so riveting to listen to! Really relaxing, and just has the etheral house-like EDM-type chords that echo throughout the track with a wholesome soulful voice to power through the song. Gorgeous! Any song to knock off Sam Sparro? It might be this one!

4 This Moment

Che Ecru

Last Week: 2

Peak Position: 2

Weeks in Chart: 3

Stopped hitting as hard as it used to! I think I looped this one abit too much, way more then I should have done. But it is what it is, therefore, it has fallen down one spot!

I WANT HER TOO

Artie J

Last Week: 3

Peak Position: 3

Weeks in Chart: 3

Issue with this one, it's simple. It's like "4 This Moment." This song only suits a singular night-time vibe. However, it's genre-defining RnB soul vocals over a trap beat? Insanely gorgeous, the echoing and perpetulant vocals are amazing! Tracks been put at number 4 though, falling one spot.

Remember The Time

Michael Jackson

Last Week: X

Peak Position: 5

Weeks in Chart: 1

For its groovy and irresistible beat, Jacko's timepiece, and part of his absolute magnum opus that's considered to be the stepping stone to the brilliant album "Invincible" releasing in 2001, "Remember The Time" in 1995 was simply brilliant. After watching Chris Moyles clips about Jacko's death, this track latched itself back into my playlist. Simply brilliant.

I Remember

deadmau5 + Kaskade

Last Week: 6

Peak Position: 6

Weeks in Chart: 3

Simply just not enough plays this week! It had been outshined by some other competition in the chart and was neglected/skipped afew times this week, however, it still had been played from start to finish at times, so on this occasion, it doesn't fall a horrible death atleast.

By Design

451

Last Week: 4

Peak Position: 2

Weeks in Chart: 2

Whilst this song is a goodie, it's tragically too short [the song is a full minute and a half] and therefore is easily repeatative, it doesn't stand the bulk listening treatment, even though it really should be its own full length track in its own totally deserving right! 451 missed this opportunity!

Toothbrush

DNCE

Last Week: X

Peak Position: 8

Weeks in Chart: 1

Absolutely a dancing classic that has plauged my playlist so much because it is simply brilliant! The generic but airy pop vocals and production are so remenisant of "The Chainsmokers", it is an absolute summer tune depicting a late one night stand, who captures your heart. I always sing this one thinking about my husband - it is THAT flirty! I love it. Expect this one to rise.

Equally Lost

Tove Lo + Doja Cat

Last Week: 5

Peak Position: 5

Weeks in Chart: 3

Such a shambles, clearly was on track for a top 3 placement, but fumbled last minute. Simply put: Tove Lo's prescense on this 2020 track was overshadowed by Doja Cat's sheer brilliance on the track, she was in the middle of a reggaton-era with 'PLANET HER', meaning her verse brings the best original funky beats that the genre was meant for, not a generic pop song, like Tove Lo sings in her verse. It's literally on this list still because I skip to Doja Cat's verse all the time. I'm expecting this one to go down...

Guess

Charli xcx + Billie Eilish

Last Week: 7

Peak Position: 7

Weeks in Chart: 3

This song is brilliant! Just hasn't been played much... for the simple reason of I really don't wanna get sick of this song atall before I see it live... so I deleted it off my playlist and only occasionally listen! So, this will gently fall off too soon...
