The (Archived and Super Old) Official Gruffalo Chart - Week 5
Welcome to the Official Gruffalo Chart! I’m Gruffalo, your guide through the best tracks of the week. With a deep love for music, media, and a bit of nerdy obsession, I curate this chart to highlight the songs that have been on repeat in my world. Whether it's a rising hit, a nostalgic gem, or a pop culture anthem, you'll find it all right here. Dive in and see what’s topping my list this week! This updates every Sunday!
Harder To Breathe
Maroon 5
Last Week: 2
Peak Position: 1
Weeks in Chart: 2
MAROON 5 TAKE THE CROWN! An absolute favour for rock acts and indie acts on my playlist! NO LONGER NEGLECTED! Maroon 5's enchantingly haunting vocals have became an earworm for me. It's brilliant to sing and is super addicting to hum. This is one that'll stick 'n' stay on the chart. Well done, Maroon 5!

Black & Gold
Sam Sparro
Last Week: 1
Peak Position: 1
Weeks in Chart: 5
Actually is the most shock announcement ever in this chart. SAM SPARRO, FORMER NUMBER 1 FOR 4 WEEKS, HAS FALLEN. It's not been listened to as much as it normally has! It's simply fell out of favour this week over some other more fresher-sounding songs. Has Sam's grip on the chart (and on me) finally softened and is fizzling out? Find out next week!
Past positions: [1][1][1][1][2]
Equally Lost
Tove Lo + Doja Cat
Last Week: 6
Peak Position: 3
Weeks in Chart: 5
Tove Lo has been up and down on this chart, she has been clearly struggling at times, hitting as low as 9 but she has been set-steady on this occasion and is, shockingly, going UP! She makes herself comfy high up on the chart! However, if I hated it before, there's a chance this favourtism may.. fall flat soon.
Past positions: [6][5][9][6][3]
Rocketfuel
Thomston
Last Week: 3
Peak Position: 3
Weeks in Chart: 2
The rocketfuel might've ran out for Thomston, but the Irish folklore tradition feel, meshed with the modern and slick-sounding 2018 Summer sound? It really hasn't! A brilliant standout track that makes any and every as unique as Thomston's "Troye Sivan"-inspired vocals on this track.
Past positions: [3][4]
You Need Me, I Don't Need You
Ed Sheeran
Last Week: X
Peak Position: 5
Weeks in Chart: 1
This guitar rap song is so free and non-genre specific, acoustic yet so unique! A complete smash-hit breakthrough with this one, it really deserved to be the track that Ed Sheeran became famous by, rather than anything else!
Past positions: [5]
Remember The Time
Michael Jackson
Last Week: 5
Peak Position: 5
Weeks in Chart: 3
Love Train
Wolfmother
Last Week: X
Peak Position: 7
Weeks in Chart: 1
Wolfmother is a new staple on my playlist I will admit! The guitar and roughness of each track is so intentional, it's like every song has been crafted with a specific bruise of gritty pattern that's embedded deep within the shouting vocals, it is artistically unique and so raw!
Past positions: [7]
Woman (Mstrkrft Remix)
Wolfmother
Last Week: X
Peak Position: 8
Weeks in Chart: 1
One of the best rock/indie tracks I have had in the background. Found this one whilst exploring through SingStar's data. It is absolutely intense and such a fun rock song that I feel like I could easily belt out. I'm waiting for this one to come to Ultrastar!
Past positions: [8]
Keep It Hot
Take Van
Last Week: X
Peak Position: 9
Weeks in Chart: 1
This hot cyber-house UK garage sounding bouncey dance track, my LORD IT IS SICK. This song is enchantingly addicting and beautifully made. So simple and amazing! Deffo deserves a spot on this chart!
Past positions: [9]
Up in Flames
Years & Years
Last Week: X
Peak Position: 10
Weeks in Chart: 1
Whilst Olly Alexander is enough of a car-crash as is, Years & Years is flawlessly perfect as a synth-pop British indie humble act. One of the GREATEST acts, and this 80s inspired pop track has came back into my playlist! Alot of 80s pop recently I can't lie...
