Black & Gold

Sam Sparro

X4

Peak Position: 1

Weeks in Chart: 4

"Black & Gold" makes it's 4TH WEEK in the chart at Number 1, it was so close to falling down to 2nd, until the 80s remix by "Kings of the Universe" landed on my Spotify smart-shuffle. It's now secured back at the top, however, if it was this close to falling... who knows what's next...

Harder To Breathe

Maroon 5

Last Week: X

Peak Position: 2

Weeks in Chart: 1

I really enjoy how rocky and surrealist this song is, it sounds like a really tightly spaced track, there's so much room everywhere else, but the moment it's the song's title lyric, everything drops. A hauntingly out-of-breath small whisper repeats the disjointed chorus. "Is there anyone out there?" AMAZING!

Thomston

Peak Position: 3

Weeks in Chart: 1

Brand new electronic track mixed with Irish instrumentals in the back, it's enchantingly gorgeous, the background vocals adds a cosmic, outer-worldly experience everytime I listen to this track. It makes me feel so good, and really happy when I hear any bit of this song. Love you baby<3

Peak Position: 2

With this one, the tracks above it just simply got more plays! This track was played the same amount as it was last week. Still though, a really summer feel-good track. It's amazing!

Remember The Time

Last Week: 5

Peak Position: 5

Weeks in Chart: 2

Jacko's "Remember The Time," with its infectious groove, is a timeless gem. Released in 1995, it’s considered a key piece of his magnum opus and a crucial step toward the brilliance of his 2001 album, "Invincible." (My favourite MJ album ever.) Last week, after watching Chris Moyles clips about Jacko's death, this track latched itself back into my playlist. It's been played a fair bit still in the background as I click alongside the track! Really fun!

Equally Lost

Tove Lo + Doja Cat

Last Week: 9

Peak Position: 5

Weeks in Chart: 4

Predicted to fall of the chart last week, and was named a "shambles", I totalled all this up and shockingly this song is 6! Something has reclicked in this track, and I have started growing to Tove Lo's addition to the track, however, nothing beats Doja Cat's flawless verse. Ever.

I Remember

deadmau5 + Kaskade

Last Week: 6

Peak Position: 6

Weeks in Chart: 4

deadmau5 hasn't moved at all really. It's a good song but it has been evenly listened, skipped. Hated, and loved. Middle section for now.

4 This Moment

Che Ecru

Last Week: 3

Peak Position: 2

Weeks in Chart: 4

Not been in a late-night feeling mood/vibe anymore! It's really a bad thing for both Artie J and Che Ecru as I am not at-all feeling moody or anything. Shame really! It's a great track on its own!

I WANT HER TOO

Artie J

Last Week: 4

Peak Position: 3

Weeks in Chart: 4

Ouch. The track has a hypnotic quality, merging smooth RnB with a punchy trap beat, creating a sound that’s both modern and nostalgic. The haunting background harmonies and crisp production make it stand out, yet it’s dropped a fair bit this week. Despite the dip, it remains a strong contender with its late-night allure... slightly.

It's done. Simply, this track is too short and just isn't as entertaining or entrancing as it was first. Not a single bit of this track hits as much, and is being skipped. Think I am getting back into actual music! Woah! Sorry 451!
